After denying it for days, "Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham has admitted to TODAY.com that she recently filmed an adult movie.
"I wanted my own personal video made and photos taken for myself, when I am older I will have my best year to look back on," Abraham told us.
"I'm happy to see my 21st year be done. I've learned a lot. As my young fans and others should expect I made sure my partner was tested and clean as well as contraception was used.
"This is just something I personally needed for me."
Initially, the young mom refuted reports about the porn flick, telling TMZ, "I don't think there's any truth to that ... I work hard on my own, professionally, and I don't need a sex tape."
But her co-star, professional porn star James Deen, confirmed the sexy shoot to E! News.
"We definitely shot a scene, and in my opinion?it was very amazingly awesome," Deen told E! Monday. And despite speculation that the two were dating after they were photographed holding hands outside of Vivid Entertainment's offices, Deen denied any romantic involvement with Abraham and insisted they are just co-workers.
"Holding hands was to build?chemistry and help make her more comfortable," Deen told E! News. "I figured it was a harmless way to help make her more comfortable before she had sex with a stranger. I always want everyone to leave the set smiling."
Farrah isn't smiling now, however. "After seeing James speaking about my personal video as a porn and not even contacting me before running his mouth, I have to say I am very disappointed," Abraham told TODAY.com. "I personally will never have anything to do with James."
Steven Hirsch, the founder and co-chairman of Vivid Entertainment told TODAY.com that his company is very interested in obtaining the rights to Abraham's fllick, although he did not confirm whether Vivid was involved in its filming.
"I have seen the movie and not only is it terrific quality but it's also amazing to watch," Hirsch said. "I think Farrah looks incredible, and we're hoping to acquire it."
Abraham says she's willing to sell the tape, if the price is right.
"As for the company who has a copy of my personal video, my lawyer is taking care of that matter," she told TODAY.com. "I will not be settling for anything less than a couple million."
Yesterday, Deen informed TMZ that Abraham was the one who came up with the plan to make an adult movie and try pass it off as leaked sex tape.
?I think what happened is that they were going to pass it off as, like, a sex tape, and then somebody saw us, you know, coming out of a building together and they were like, ?Hey, what the hell?s going on?? and people asked me and I have this problem where I can?t really lie, so I was like, ?We?re making a porno!??
"Teen Mom" fans were shocked when the story of Abraham's venture into the porn industry broke Monday morning. However, no one was more surprised than Abraham's own family, who appear to have had no idea that she had participated in such a film.
"Am I on the right planet or what? Is this earth?" her father (and frequent "Teen Mom" guest star), Michael Abraham, posted on his Facebook page on Monday afternoon.
"I woke up and had the worse Monday of Mondays." He later told a fan, "This Monday I needed my extra thick skin for the 'challenges' that hit me today..."
MTV had no comment on Abraham's sex tape scandal, but did confirm to TODAY.com that the network had no involvement in the making of the tape whatsoever.
For her part, Abraham doesn't seem to be worried what anyone thinks about her decision to do the adult movie.
