My husband is awesome. He helps me around the house by doing my least favorite chores {washing the dishes and folding the laundry} and he?s even been known to grab a paint brush and help me with the DIY project o? the week. So dreamy. My husband is also hilarious.?One morning, my husband decided that if he ever had an extra bit of cash lying around, he would purchase a movie theater style popcorn machine. The man loves himself some movie theater popcorn.
Well, not even 30 minutes after this thought passed through his brain, I was contacted by the LA Shop to see if I?d like to review their site and one of their products. Lo and behold, one of my options to review was an?.old fashioned movie theater style popcorn machine. He helps me out so much and had just been through the great appendix saga of 2013?how could I not say yes??
Once I started poking around the LA Shop?s site, I was really amazed at the amount and variety of products they offered. Tim?s beloved popcorn machine arrived quickly, and we were both pretty excited to try it out. We had a couple of our dearest friends over for a home-double-date-night. ?Y?all know me ? I can?t just leave well enough alone?.I had to get the fun popcorn bags {from Michael?s} and movie theater candy, too!
The machine is so easy to use. You just scoop in the popcorn kernels {using the measuring cup at the top of the machine}, situate your bowl to catch all of that popped corn, and then switch it to ?on?. Seriously. So easy.
The popcorn is air popped, so it is actually a fairly healthy snack, but also easy to customize. We have several friend who have dairy allergies, which means no butter either. We were able to make a butter-less batch with just a sprinkle of popcorn salt. We also tried out Kernel Season?s butter spritzer and popcorn seasonings. You lightly spray the popcorn with the butter first, and then sprinkle on your favorite seasoning. I?m a white cheddar fan, myself. 
We had a blast creating our own popcorn concoctions at home. This makes for a really fun date night or family night. Make everyone?s favorite type of popcorn, add a little theater candy, and then pop in your favorite movie! It would also be fun to have around for a carnival themed birthday party, or for an Oscar party. The options are endless!

I love my husband, family, friends, and sweet puppy. Every morning starts with a cup of coffee, and many days end with one.
